Profile
Let’s talk about a spot that feels like a hidden gem in Medford: Pallet Brewing Company. Tucked away in a quiet industrial park, walking into Pallet feels like discovering your new favorite hangout. Since opening their doors in 2023, they’ve been steadily building a reputation for solid, well-crafted beers and a seriously relaxed vibe.
The first thing you notice is the atmosphere. It’s got that classic, no-frills brewery feel with a cool, rustic-industrial edge. Think high ceilings, a clean layout, and, of course, a bar that invites you to pull up a stool and stay awhile. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a long week or meet up with friends without any pretense. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate about their beer, always happy to chat about what’s on tap and give you a recommendation.
Now for the main event: the beer. Pallet Brewing doesn’t chase every crazy trend; instead, they focus on brewing classic, true-to-style beers that are just plain delicious. Their tap list is diverse enough for any palate. You’ll almost always find a fantastic, easy-drinking lager like their Pallet Light, a crisp and refreshing choice that’s perfect for kicking off a flight.
For the hopheads, they consistently deliver. Look out for their hazy IPAs, which are juicy and aromatic without being overwhelmingly bitter. But they really shine across the board—from rich, roasty porters to traditional German styles and approachable ales, everything is clean, flavorful, and incredibly drinkable. They offer flights, so you can sample your way through the menu, which is definitely the way to go here.
One of the best features is their awesome outdoor space. They have a great dog-friendly patio area with fire pits, making it a fantastic spot to enjoy a perfect weather day with your pint and your four-legged friend. While they don’t serve food, they regularly host local food trucks, so you can always grab a great bite to pair with your brew.
Pallet Brewing is a welcome addition to the South Jersey beer scene. It’s a place built on a love for good beer and good company, and it shows. If you appreciate quality, classic brews in a laid-back setting, you need to add Pallet to your must-visit list. Cheers!
