We stopped in this weekend to finally check out Autodidact after having some pretty amazing beers by them at House Of Brews in Turnersville, NJ. It’s quite the drive, from South Jersey, but this visit was highly anticipated.
It’s pretty easy to miss because it’s in a shopping center on a busy road so as you approach it be prepared to hook a hard right to get in. Parking out front is limited, but there’s a large lot out back that it seemed everyone was using.
When we walked in they had a band playing up front by the bar area so it was pretty hard to place an order, but we eventually got one in. Seating is a bit limited towards the front so we had to go to the back and sit up against the window to the brewery floor. I’d almost say the back was full of children, but in reality there were just a few REALLY noisy kids back there.
The two beers we had were as amazing as we anticipated. I just wish it were a little more comfortable to hang out for a little while and relax. I’ll be sure to look out for their beers down here in South Jersey.
