Asbury, in Warren County, is a small borough in the northwestern corner of New Jersey, set in the rural farmland and rolling terrain of the upper Delaware River valley. Not to be confused with Asbury Park on the Jersey Shore, this Asbury sits roughly 70 miles inland, near the Pennsylvania border and close to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The surrounding landscape is defined by working farms and open countryside, conditions that have historically supported agricultural production across Warren County.
Warren County has developed a modest but growing craft beverage presence, with producers taking advantage of local grain and fruit sources in a setting quite different from the denser suburban taproom culture found in central and northern New Jersey. Asbury itself is a quiet community, but visitors making their way through the Delaware River corridor will find it close to breweries and wineries in the broader region. The county seat of Belvidere is a short drive east, and Phillipsburg at the Pennsylvania border is accessible to the west.
