Cherry Hill Township, in Camden County, is one of the larger municipalities in South Jersey by population, sitting directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia. It functions as a commercial and residential center for Camden County, with major retail corridors along Routes 70 and 38 and a mix of suburban neighborhoods that grew rapidly in the postwar decades. The township is well connected by highway to both Philadelphia and the rest of South Jersey.

South Jersey has seen consistent growth in craft brewery openings over the past decade, and Cherry Hill’s size and central location have made it a natural landing spot for taprooms serving the greater Camden County area.
