Columbia, in Warren County, is a small village at the northern end of New Jersey’s Delaware River corridor, situated near the point where Interstate 80 crosses into Pennsylvania at the Delaware Water Gap. The surrounding landscape is steep, wooded, and rural, with the Kittatinny Ridge visible to the north and the Delaware River defining the western boundary of the county. It is one of the more remote communities in New Jersey by distance from any urban center.
Warren County has a small but developing craft beverage presence, with the rural terrain and agricultural pockets of the county supporting both brewery and winery operations in scattered locations. Columbia’s position near the Water Gap and the I-80 corridor gives it access to craft beverage venues in both Warren County and across the river in eastern Pennsylvania. For visitors stopping through on their way along the Delaware or coming down from the Poconos, the area offers locally produced options within a short drive in either direction along the river corridor.
