Cream Ridge, in Monmouth County, is an unincorporated community within Upper Freehold Township, situated in the rural agricultural interior of the county southwest of Freehold Borough. The area is characterized by horse farms, flat to gently rolling farmland, and a landscape that has remained largely agricultural while much of Monmouth County’s coast has developed. It sits roughly 20 miles from both the Jersey Shore and the Trenton area.

Cream Ridge is one of the longer-established winery areas in Monmouth County. The soil and drainage conditions here are well suited to grape growing, and the community has been associated with farm winery production for several decades. Wine is the primary craft beverage draw, though the broader Monmouth County area includes breweries and distillery operations in other parts of the county. For visitors coming from Trenton, Burlington County, or the Shore, Cream Ridge offers a rural alternative to the more suburban craft beverage scene, with an emphasis on vineyard visits and estate-grown production.
