Ocean View, in Cape May County, is an unincorporated community within Dennis Township, situated in the rural interior of the Cape May peninsula roughly midway between the Atlantic coast and the Delaware Bay shore. Cape May County is one of New Jersey’s primary wine-producing regions, with a concentration of farm wineries and vineyard tasting rooms spread across its agricultural lowlands, many of them accessible from the routes that cut through the county’s interior toward the beach towns.

This part of Cape May County attracts a mix of local visitors and tourists who combine winery visits with trips to the Jersey Shore beaches farther south. The proximity to Stone Harbor, Wildwood, and Cape May itself makes the Dennis Township area a natural stop for visitors making their way down the Garden State Parkway.
