Oldwick, in Hunterdon County, is a small historic village within Tewksbury Township, set in the rolling hills of central New Jersey’s wine and farming country. The surrounding landscape of open pasture, woodlands, and working farms places it firmly in Hunterdon County’s craft beverage corridor, which extends from the Delaware River towns in the west through the county’s interior and connects to similar terrain across the border in Warren and Morris counties.

Wineries and small-batch producers are the primary draw for craft beverage visitors in this part of Hunterdon County, where the agricultural setting supports vineyard operations. Oldwick sits near the Lamington River valley, and the Tewksbury Township area is accessible from Routes 512 and 206, putting it within roughly 45 minutes of Morristown and about an hour from Newark for day-trippers making the trip into New Jersey wine country. Visitors often combine a stop in Oldwick with other Hunterdon County producers farther west toward Flemington or the Delaware River.
